Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels has changed its stationery supplier to WildHearts Office, meaning it is helping to make a positive social impact in the UK and abroad through simply purchasing business supplies.
Examples of WildHearts Group’s social initiatives include its Social Mobility Strategy which aims to address social mobility in the UK through its enterprise programme, Micro-Tyco, free entrepreneurial training, and events for young people from poorer backgrounds, helping them into employment.
The StartHer Strategy supports women and girls in developing world through three initiatives, enterprise, education, and health.
Nic Oldham, Head of Customer and Commercial at Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels, “We really admire WildHearts ethos that businesses should be a force for good. It has some fantastic initiatives throughout the world helping to address issues such as gender and social inequality.
“Even something as simple as business stationery can help to create a positive impact on the world and we are proud to support a social enterprise that helps to create positive change.”
Linda Forsyth, Corporate Account Manager at WildHearts Group said
“We believe in the creativity and resilience of humanity. All of our social initiatives invest in exactly that – from struggling female entrepreneurs in Malawi to young people affected by social mobility in the UK. By empowering people, we help level the playing field.
“We are in the business of giving a hand up, not a handout, and having the support of companies like the Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels is vital in order for us to continue to help people across the globe.”
