Carnoustie
Just a short 30 minute drive away you’ll find the world famous Carnoustie links. The Champions course has proudly hosted The Open eight times, so it’s only natural this course should be on your bucket list. For the golf enthusiasts, there are three 18-hole courses here. There's even indoor golf for a wet weather option - practice your swing with seven simulator bays. For a bit of family fun, you'll also find a short five-hole course called The Nestie.

Downfield
Right on our doorstep, Downfield Golf Club is a popular course that's not to be missed. It's been described as ‘one of the best inland courses in Britain’ by Paul Lawrie (1999 Open Champion) and has played host to many golfing events throughout the years. Combining wonderful scenery with natural wildlife, Downfield offers a challenging but enjoyable experience to all golfers. Booking a tee time can be easily done on their website or giving the club a call.

St Andrews
“The Home of Golf”. To play the famous Old Course in St Andrews is any golfers dream and it's easy to see why. The first game of golf ever was played here over 600 years ago, in this small coastal town. St Andrews is proud to host the 150th Open Championships in July 2022, the small town will be bustling with golf fans from around the globe. All seven links courses are challenging with spectacular views and it's only a short 25 minutes from our front door. Securing a tee time on the famous old course maybe easier than you think with a great winter package, traditional daily ballot or single golfers can check on the day to see if they can join a two or three ball group.
After your round, refuel in one of the clubhouses or take home a momento from one of the many golf shops.
